Ok I want to go work at your husband's company, what a great idea. and that pub looks just great, I WANNA GO THERE!! There was a pub in Ireland called The Harp that I used to go to all the time when I lived there.
In a land of wonderous things...
i want to work with mr.green! how fun is that! i pubs.
the only time I have ever done anything for St. Paddy's day was when the marching band went to Savannah to march in the parade. Savannah has the second largest celebration in the world, second only to Dublin. There were at least a million people, and they were all wasted. It was great to see the competition between places to see who could sell the cheapest cup of booze. The parade was 4 miles, which is a long way to march while blowing on a trombone. It was a blast, but I really don't do anything anymore.

We don't really celebrate it in our house. I know I'm wearing green though... I don't want to get pinched!
I do the "Other", so let me explain.
St. Patty's Day is big at our house. I'm mainly Irish and German, so we have to have some fun.
We have 3 Children, so going to the bar has never really been my thing, BUT, COOKING IS!
I make Irish Soda Bread from scratch, and Lamb Stew, Buttered Carrots and Cabbage.
We break out the table cloth, and the good stuff too!
Celtic music plays and everyone HAS to wear something green.
It's a lot of fun at our house and the kids love it.
