Re: You tend to choose avatars that are (and please explain ...
99.95% of the time my avatar will be a picture of a eye. Why a eye well I think you can tell alot by looking into ones eyes. I'm also one that when I speak to others I always looks them in the eye. I do that mainly out of respect for them and what they have to say. I think eyes are the keys to ones soul. You will also see that most of the time the eyes are blue since I have blue eyes. I do change the eye avatars out and yes I have played with the camera and some of them are really my eye(s) - most are just cool eye pics (I have a photobucket album of them stored). The .05% is that at Christmas you might see a real pic of me up with a santa hat on (just for the holidays).

Ahahahahaha.
I soooo had my good laugh for the night... No offense to anyone who thought that, by the way...
For anyone wondering, that is a picture of James Clerk Maxwell (13 June 1831 – 5 November 1879), was a Scottish theoretical physicist and mathematician.... So yeah.

I chose other, because I usually put up whatever I find at the time, and leave it up for a very long time (usually someone else has to suggest the change). My current pic is my dog Willow with a red mohawk. I had the pic handy and it makes me smile.
Re: You tend to choose avatars that are (and please explain ...
I used to choose artsy body pics, but was starting to think that I was coming off too narcissistic, so I started to put up regular ones instead. But in light of my relatively low score on my narcissism test, in comparison to (most of) the other members of GD, I might have to start putting them back up again.
Btw, here's my favorite funny dog. I could watch him all day, .

I choose avatars that are like my username. Since my pen is James Clerk, I went with some old dead guy from the 1800's... Go me!
