It looks like one of those "smart" cars. Best part is only $2k - heck for around $4k I would get the deluxe model with a/c and a radio. How cute is this little car!

India's Tata rolls out world's cheapest car

Company boss Ratan Tata said the no-frills vehicle, slated to cost just 100,000 rupees (2,000 dollars) for the basic model, will get India's middle-class urban population off motorcycles and into safer, affordable cars.

I have a feeling we wont see this in the US

Yeah my kids are getting something like this

something safe and all. Oh FYI I will be biting the bullet this year (fall) and buying my oldest a car. I'm looking at mid size with a TON of airbags. Its some scary times when your kids are driving. I'm dreading the call to my insurance company.

I don't think I would feel safe with my kids in that car.

It reminds me of the "Smart Car" and that is available in the US. Its not as cheap but I think they are low cost. I saw one in KY about 9 months ago while visiting with a friend - I was like WTF is that little thing. It was too cute

these are cute and ive actually seen alot of these around town i just think its so unsafe. i would be scared to death to drive one. especially around our tourist traffic. when you see this next to an suv it quite scary.

I agree cute in a matchbox kinda way. I dunno if I was in the Keys it would be great because everyone drives scooters around. I've only seen one local and it was along time ago. Yes very scary next to a large SUV which haha I drive (a 4x4 Suburban).
