"Mercer Consulting's annual roundup of the global cities with the best quality of life is here, and Zurich once again comes out on top. The best place in the U.S.? Honolulu at No. 28"
Out of this list which place would like most to live? I'm thinking somewhere in New Zealand
Boston, Chicago, and SF are all some of my fave cities, but I would never LIVE there. The traffic, the cost, the noise would get old after awhile. I haven't been to the other cities I saw in the article, but I would love to visit them. i would have to be there for a bit before I could commit to living there.
Any swiss city please!
Definitely Amsterdam...
The weather and the relaxed lifestyle would suit me just fine. And I guess if I don't get my master's degree, I could work in the red light district...
However, on a personal note I disagree with Vancouver being on this list. I found that place to be the most racist place on earth, at least for interracial couples. My boyfriend and I were either obviously ignored by shopkeepers or had rude comments made to us when we went on vacation there. It happened over and over again. And I thought it was supposed to be really international and accepting there. Boy, I was wrong...sheesh...
Don't buy those knee high boots and short leather skirt for the red light district just yet. Everything will work out and you will be extremely successful.
I am surprised to here that about Vancouver. I haven't been there since I was a kid, but I wouldn't have thought they would be so behind the times. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience.
In a land of wonderous things...
Off that list either Auckland, Honolulu, Amsterdam, or Bern work just fine for me.
as a matter of fact it's all dark."
