Looks like our next "method of payment" option is destined to be our own cell phone. Nokia has invested in a company that allows people to link a payment account to their cell phones. I'm not sure exactly how this would work, but I'd probably really like it. Think about it. As long as a code of some sort is needed, imagine being able to hand over your phone to pay for you items. No more need for that wallet. AND no more drunken "lose your credit card at the bar" moments Blushing Hey, I've only done it ONCE!
What do you think? Would you like it? Do you think it'll really happen. I do. I personally think Nokia rules the roost when it comes to phones, I'll use nothing else. So I'd be willing to bet they'll get this thing going. Read the full story here.

I gues they will charge it to your phone by charging usuing your cell phone account as a credit card. Like when you happen to sign on to those ringtone places and they charge you 9.99 a month. That 9.99 will show up on you cell phone statement. I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea if they find a more secure way of using it.

Hmmm.... never even thought of it being attached to your bill. I was thinking more like you'd attach some sort of paypal-esque account to your phone, or maybe even a checking account? Not sure... Interesting though.

Oh joys because I have about 40+ employees with cells that I get the bill for so why not let them charge things to their phones too - Laughing . I dunno I see this as a way that some will get really over extended on their bills. I think I'll pass.

i'm not sure if i'd like this. i guess i'd have to see how secure it is and does it "attach" itself to my checking account, not my cell phone bill. am i handing over my cell phone to pay? i do pay all my bills online and did have my bank account hacked into before..just have to read more about this first.
