Hey all,

I don't know much about blogging & I don't know if what i'm looking for exists... I'm looking to start up a blog, but i don't want just anyone to be able to read it.

Does anyone know of a blogging domain that you can create a guest password for guest viewing? That way on Facebook i can put my blog site under My Websites and a guest password to view my blog.

Besides that privacy aspect i would like it to be widely customizable.

I believe Livejournal has the option your looking for. It is more of a dairy look you can create groups of whom you want to be able to view your writings. I know Myspace does have the preferred list only blog privacy setting. Those are the only 2 I can think of right now but, if I think of anymore I'll add them

Thanks Green for the quick response and ideas! But perhaps what i'm looking for just doesn't exist.

My friends don't really have blogs or Myspace anymore, so adding them as friends on my blog isn't something i wanted to do.

Perhaps i'll just create a blog under an obscure name created with an oddball new just-for-the-blog email address and then no weird ex stalkers will find it. And i can have it Public and post the link on my Facebook for my friends on my private Facebook profile.

Hi there, Blogger has the features that you are looking for. Once you sign up for your blogger account, you go into Settings and then the tab called Permissions and choose what you want. There are three Permissions levels, 1. Anybody 2. Only People I Choose 3. Only Blog Authors

Blogger is very easy to use and has a lot of widgets and things you can set up to make it your very own style.

If you need any help let me know I have set up a couple of blogs for friends on blogger.
