Tomorrow is the release date of Firefox 3.5 but the Mozilla team is already hard a work for the next release of Firefox 3.6 or what is currently being called Firefox.next or code name "Namoroka" at the Firefox camp. Firefox 3.6 is scheduled for delivery in early to mid 2010. Mozilla promises the next big jump to have a number of improvements so that they can gain more of the market. Currently Firefox is the number 2 browser and they would like to close that gap a little more.
So what is in store for Firefox 3.6 you ask? Well Mashable got a sneak peak at what is in store for us.

Better Peformance – speed it the name of the game. Better speeds when starting up, opening new tabs. Firefox 3.5 saw a performance as far as javascript but Firefox 3.6 will see better user performance on who the browser itself functions.
More Personalization and Customization Options – Firefox has always been know for the personal touch that you can give it with all the add-on's and the themes. In 3.6 Mozilla plans to lighten the framework so that you will not need to do a restart after you load on a new theme or add-on
New Navigation Options – this basically means better organization for tabs in order to make life easier for what we are trying to accomplish. One thing is giving us the option to create, restore and save tabs.
Better Web App Support – Web apps are becoming a big thing and with 3.6 Firefox will make it easier for uploading files to websites and save web pages as a application.
There are some more possible upgrades that you can read about HERE, some very exciting.
