OK lets first we all know that turkeys are brown - they are multi color as you can see...

So as always the Thanksgiving Eve the president always pardons a turkey. Here is a picture of Obama today pardoning the turkey at the White House

Have you ever seen such a white turkey? I just kinda found the whole thing quite funny and yet odd. I mean we now have a black president yet we pardon a solid white turkey. So off to do a search and guess what this is not the first white turkey pardoned. It seams that we have always pardoned only white turkeys. What is up with that? I mean we moved on as a country in electing a black president but yet we can't pardon a colored turkey - nope only the white ones go free.

So what happen to him saying its time for "change"?

I think the whole concept of the pardon is utterly stupid, and the color of the dang bird certainly doesn't matter at all. I don't care if it's purple.
