Ubuntu 10.4 (BEST OS OUT) Period !!!!
Ubunutu 10.4 is the first OS ever to support iPhone or iPod right out of the box !
Not even any Mac OS does that , you need iTunes for it still any other way !
PROS
CONS
So really no bad things to say about it !
So Goto http://www.ubuntu.com/ to check it out !
For Most of you I would suggust going here First to download Wubi Clicky
(Wubi will install just like any other windows program and make a uninstall file and everything and then you can try a dual boot system for most people this is a scary thought but Wubi is the best dual boot installer out there Period I will back it up or double your money back)
If you want to wipe your drive and/or install it without Windows or want to run it off a cd (yes you can run the complete OS off a standard 700mb CD) goto their download page here Clicky
Once you try Ubuntu you will Never go back to windows Ever again ! ( Oh did I mention it's Free)

Actually the article was March 2009
Very nice tutorial Jayson but is that just for installing Ubuntu or if you want to dual boot (running both windows and ubuntu at the same time)?
both
Ubuntu is superior but some people will not want to get rid of Windows so Wubi will let them have the best of both worlds
Windows 7 is Crap compared to Ubuntu 10.4 and I love Windows 7
compared to Vista ! I never thought , Linux would Rock so much ! ( I still think windows is OK but hate the Microsoft politics)
My archos5 media tablet runs linux and everything else I own is Windows base. I still prefer my windows over everything else however I will say that windows7 basic does suck.
I guess its all a matter of what you get use to.
windows 7 ultimate is what I have and Ubuntu 10.4 rules its better than Standard Linux
What style of linux is on archos5 media tablet?
Ubuntu also plays NES,SNES & wii games with only few add ons and much much more !
You forgot to mention about Ubuntu One, it has a simple way to upload files automatically to Ubuntu's cloud server. It has 2 GB free and 50 GB paid
Remember installing Ubuntu is not like what they say in this article Clicky
