Well apple came out with a new mouse called the "Magic Mouse". There are no buttons, no scrolling wheel its just plane and smooth. If you like touch screens you will love this or maybe you wont. Here is what the mouse looks like:
OK concept wise I will say its cool but I do see some down sides to it. One huge downside for me is the low profile of the mouse - its ultra thin. You can see its thinner then a thumb:
Well all I can think is ohhhhhh anyone who spends some time on the computer is going to end up with some serious wrist issues like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The mouse is wireless Blue tooth so that is a plus. Downside I did read is that once the batteries die in it your dead in the water since you can not change the batteries. I'm not sure if you can at that point tether it.
This mouse sells at Apple for $69.00
So any of our MAC users have this? I would love a review
eh I don't think i'd like that. I have had my share of carpel tunnel syndrome and its painful.. I use the ergonomic one now and haven't had it since, I just this mouse!!
lololololololol I thought the same thing. I was like dangggggggggggggg missb
hummm I think I own that too - oh snap that is a mouse - never mind

is apple outta their mind? how often can someone spend that much on a mouse? especially if they use the pc for work. like i do. those batteries better last like 10 years!
yeah I agree the price is a wee bit high but that is the nomrmal for apple IMO. I know I use a Logitech mouse that I got with a keyboard that I love and I paid $90 but that was for the combo. My mouse is certainly more beefy and since I spend alot of time on my KB and mouse it is very comfortable. I could never use that mouse way to thin I would be back in surgery for my wrist, I've had that once and I don't care to repeat.
The batteries is just crazy, it would be a paperweight in no time in my house

I wouldn't get it...i like to rest my thumb on the side of my mouse. And, i think people aren't going to dish out for something that requires more activity than a regular mouse.
And you can't recharge the battery?? wth?!
No deal.
FAIL.
