I hafta say ... I'm ALL FOR THIS!!
A new Chinese online game will use your webcam to confirm that you're REALLY a chick (or a dude) when you go to create your toon (character). God knows how many times I've probably cybered (just kidding, I would never do that 
) some fat, greezy, gyro with extra tatziki sauce eatin', moob havin' (man-boob), hairy mountain gorilla in the many years I've played MMO's. Ya know the type ... they have this dainty lil', girl toon, with a perfect body and barely any clothes on, flirting with you to get ya to hand over your +25 to cold resist gemstone, to fuse to thier flaming sword. Then later ya hear them over Ventrillo and they sound like Luther Vandross.
This is sorely needed.

Maybe they'll add that in somehow ... be able ot detect a persons approx age, and add age filtering in it too. Right now, without webcams, anyone can easily talk to and pretend ot be anyone in a game. It's getting hard ot avoid webcams, they've started building them right into laptops and stuff.

mmorpg is massively multiplayer online role playing game. like world of warcraft. i think this could be a good idea! and I have my badge! 
If they could somehow detect age too, I'd love that. I always get freaked out when I start talking to some girl in-game, thinking I might be talking to some underage chick, and next thing ya know, I'll be considered one of those old perverts when it wasn't my intention in the first place,

Or at least somehow make ya prove your real age when ya sign up, and it'll automatically go into your profile when ya 'examine' their toon.

See I think as a parent this could be good and bad. I like that my kid could see that they were chatting with another kid and not some 60 yr old perv wanking off to the chat logs. However web cams and kids scare me. I have one kid who is totally into MMORPG games.
