Ok so this morning I got up and only 2 of my 3 cats came to eat. Searched all over for the other one and finally found him out back hiding in a trash can (it was raining). He apparently wandered out last night while the garage was open. So now I need to know what to do, we can't catch him (there is a boat in my garage and he is hiding under it), if anyone goes near him he hisses, tries to scratch us, etc. It's been years since one of my cats got out so what else should I do for him? Just let him be till he comes out on his own?
Storm. He always tries to run out when I go out the front, this is the first time he DID run out when someone left out the back. Just didn't know it til this morning. Stupid cat.
You could use something like a broom, and nudge him on his furry lil behind until he's within arm's reach, and then .... *pounce!*
Or dangle a nice, juicy mouse in front of him
water bottle works wonders too. Or take a empty coke can toss in some pennys or rocks tape the top and roll it into him. Cats hate that noise and that should get him moving. Also like what dogg said brooms work well too
What about shaking the cat food bag? Maybe he'll decide food is better than being a pill under a boat.
I tried pretty much all of these ideas to no avail, then last night I guess he decided it's cold in the garage and came upstairs. He's still acting weird (won't go around the other cats) but at least he's eating again. oh and when I picked the babysitter up this morning, he tried to run out again! Stupid cat.
I will never forget that dog! Your mom thought I was dead. . anyway, what critter did you get?
Philly
Let him starve... he'll come out sooner or later!
Do a little dance...
