For a good while now I've been searching for a way to get streaming video to my XBOX. "not pay services".... Theres a few online channels like Hulu
and some stuff from justin tv that I'd really like to stream to my tv via my XBOX 360
.
I realize the video won't be the greatest quality, but still would really come in handy for me. Do any of you guys know of a way?
thanks for any help
I use a great little program called Tversity, which allows me to watch whatever files are on my hard drive on my XBOX 360. Very useful for me because my XBOX
is in my bedroom and the comp in the dining room.
So just go to the main site and download it, its a very simple program to set up and use, trust me if I can anyone can. good luck

May have to give it a try again, but I had all sorts of trouble getting
tversity to show up on my XBOX 360. It showed up just fine in my wmc on my computer, but the XBOX
seemed like a no go, plus tversity seemed like it kept causing my XBOX
to have network difficulties, like it was pulling alot of resources.
Tvsersity has never given me any problems at all when using it.
To see it on your 360, hit the middle button, scroll over to video library, and after you set it up the bottom tab should say Tversity(the top ones will be zune, play current disc ect;) You have to set tversity to the network youre on if you have wireless router like I do, the same way your 360 is.
Maybe the problem with the lag is because you have the actual Tversity program running. There are two .exe files that run, one is the tversity and the other is mediacenter.exe. Thats the only one that counts, so try closing the tversity icon on your toolbar and make sure that only mediaserver.exe is running in your task manager and that should clear it up.
ok, I got it recognizing it now, but I'm trying to figure out how to stream shows via this site.....http://www.channelsurfing.net/
Will tv versity stream in real time, or will shows have to be dloaded and played back later?
Thats a good question dude, I've been wondering if I could stream websites like Academicearth and Fora.tv through there onto my TV in my bedroom. My one friend says he thinks you can but hasn't tried it and I might need to get a new version of Tversity, I'm sure there have been updates. Let me know if you find out
http://ipodmovie.info/ is a great site to use !
I'm not sure if you can acess this site on XBOX --> http://i4iphones.info/
http://www.Netflix.com is the best yes its a pay for site but it's only $10 a month for unlimited movies .
You could always get 4 other people to chip in and use the same account between 4 people would only be $2.50 a month or you could split it between more people ! It's well worth it for streaming video the quality is usually the best.
