So what is your Social Networking Etiquette? If say a fellow worker finds you on myspace/facebook and sends you a friend request. Or what if that one relative that you don't care for sends you a friend request? How do you politely tell them sorry or do you just accept them but only after you clean up your profile?
They had a etiquette lady on the Today show yesterday talking about this. She said she tells them that they "do not meet her criteria of friends". I was like holy crap I think that would be rude. So what do you do? Do you let the request just sit there and wait for it to expire ignoring it? Do you come up with a story or just flat out come out and say why they will not be approved?
Yeah I get ones every blue moon on facebook. I just tell them that I keep facebook more personal and more for family or friends and leave it at that. Then I generally tell them that they can friend request me on myspace where I have that profile pretty stripped down since I play mobsters.

We should get her here to find us some new codes, and do our sleuthin for us!

I was thinking the same thing - go mom! We love moms anyways :-)
My mom can barely send a email so she would be lost here -

well as some of you know, in spite of having facebook and myspace accounts, i'm never ever on either. soooo rarely. i think i logged into ms for a minute yesterday just to run a test...so, in my case, if i ignore a request it's usually just cause i'm never on those sites...but, honestly, if i do see a request from someone that i don't want to have access to my uber cool pages (totally kidding), i do just let the request sit there and hope they magically go away...
i just can't bring myself to tell someone- "eww, get lost loser!". i dunno. seems mean somehow... *lol*
"Most everyone's mad here.

"You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself."

God, we MUSTA been seperated at birth. As far as I'm concerned people
living in friend request land!

I had a fellow worker friend request me on Facebook. I accepted it. But after a while, I deleted him, hopefully he didn't notice, but I got some kinda weird vibes from him a couple of days later which led me to believe he did notice. Oh well, its cyber space, not real life!
I left my ex mother in law in friend request land.. it is theraputic.. I can see her profile all I want and she cant see mine.. Neener Neener Neener I stopped having to tolerate the woman May 1st 2000. the day of my divorce decree
