AppSnap lets you install any iPhone app by taking a picture of its icon, allowing easy app sharing between iPhone users.
AppSnap is essentially just a camera app with a lens zoomed into Apple’s App Store. Simply snap a photo of the application icon in question — just make sure to line it up as directed — and AppSnap will scan it and return a list of matching apps (in testing it proved to be extremely accurate). Users can then share the app via e-mail, Twitter or Facebook or install it for themselves.

This sounds kind of interesting and I am assuming it's for the free apps only.
Wow, they're getting pretty creative with iPhone apps, that's pretty cool. What's the name of that one iPhone app again that lets you "catch" things in the air that other people "throw" at you with their iPhone?
