So inspired by Smartmom's thread on Keyboard Shortcuts. I thought I start a thread on want to do when your keyboard dies and you can't get a new one right away.
In case you decided to take out all your buttons to clean your keyboard and in the end find it not working (totally didn't do this) , this is what you can do:
Click Start>All Programs>Accessibility>On-Screen Keyboard
Presto! You can start using the on-screen keyboard. The On-Screen Keyboard window will stay on top of all others, so you can use it to type where necessary:
To exit out the On-Screen keyboard, you can just click X whenever you choose to.
had no idea about this! thanks Phoenix!!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh very cool! Ok I went to looking and I have Vista (64bit but I dont think that matters) and its a little different to fine it:
All Programs > Accessories > Ease of Access > On Screen Keyboard
once you find it the keyboard looks the same as above...very cool and one to remember should I ever need it.
I had a look at this and noticed that it is not installed on my PC.
Perhaps I never need it but I know I will be very upset with myself if I actually
do need it one day and have not installed it So if I can figure out where to install
it from I will do it.
So if I can figure out where to install it from I will do it.
Well I found it under the utilities screen ( Windows Key + U ) so it is installed.
Still not sure how to fire it up without a keyboard

Well seems like I am having a monologue here
I don't see the utilities Manager anywhere on my menus but I have found it executables
C:\WINDOWS\system32\utilman.exe -> Utilities Manages
C:\WINDOWS\system32\osk.exe -> On Screen Keyboard
