OK I'm so going to get my kids this summer with this one. You know one of those days they are swimming in the pool and have banged on the french doors 50+ times for me to serve them all (gotta include the friends) in the pool.

Exploding Soda (yep Science project for the parents).

items needed:

• Diet Soda (the myth busters will tell you it has to be diet)
• mint mentos (has to be mint and has to be mento's)
• water & a ice cube tray

Directions: Fill a glass (you may want to use plastic cups here) with some warm soda, add 4 ice cubes. One of the ice cubes while the water was freezing you dropped a mint mento into is. So you will be adding 3 regular ice cubes and one with the mento. Wait about 5 minutes then you can watch your own little volcano in action.

Yep payback for all those last min. science projects, now we have one of our own to do
