Ok,
I have worked since i was 16, mainly working with the public. I am now 41 and have my Associates in Web Design. I however have not worked since 2001, last job i had was the Manager of a Supercuts. Loved my Job but loved my kids more. I am taking a class in doing my resume, but i was told that employers really dont want to know what you've done if its past 10 years ago. My question is, does anyone know a good resume program or website that can at least get me started?? I dont have much to offer a future employer as far as past experience, but i can dazzle with words and have no problem thinking on this. But i truly am at a stand still!! HELP! Crying

Well I understand I took off almost 7 years to play the mommy roll, I loved it but I was excited when I returned to the work force. I was nice to hold conversations with adults without having to say "listen to mommy", "Give your brother his toy back" or "stop it and go play nice" Laughing

I took 3 yrs off to be full time mom to my son. I LOVED it and would do it all over again. I would put down at least the last 2-3 employers that you worked for regardless of how long ago it was. If you're right for the job they won't care how long you've been out of the work force. Let us know how you get on !
