Problem loading Facebook homepage

So son o' mine is having issues with getting onto Facebook the last couple of days. When he logs in, this is all he can see, and it doesn't matter where he presses on the page, nothing happens. He has tried in Safari, and FF and no luck. I can login to mine in both and have no issues at all. Anyone have any ideas?

I did look at the url and it looks normal. It's driving me crazy cos I can't figure it out.Any takers on this ??? 
When you use his computer can you get on your facebook ok? Its just his? Did you try to get on his facebook via another computer?
Yeah mine is no problem.... I'm not sure if he tried it from his phone, although I think he did, i'll ask him
if yours is fine and his is not and you have tried it from another computer and its still messed up then it has to be a facebook issue and not the computer. Did he make any chages on his settings?
Facebook just made some changes to the home page so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe while changing your sons over it didn't go smooth???

Does it help after he updates his Java?
What about for test purposes when he tries using IE, Opera and Chrome? Then you can at least possibly narrow it down to a certain browser(s).

what is his URL he is using? Could he be in mobile mode? (was mom testing codes on his computer?)
