Music is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world. It cheers me up, mellows me down, gets my energy flowing, makes me reflect, etc... And I love every minute of what it does for me. There are tons of awesome songs out there played by some amazingly rockin' bands. And that's what I want to know. Instead of name that tune I'd like for you to name that band. Tell us who some of your favorites are so that we can maybe discover some new music, or perhaps agree on how awesomingly awesome a band is. Or even to just express disbelief at a band choice. Either way- come on and name that band

Great electronica; killer blog.
Aerosmith
Linkin Park
Nirvana
Korn
My Chemical Romance
All American Rejects
Sugar Ray
It's funny my music changes according to what I'm doing or what time of the year it is. I would say my music tends to go to rock and I love Nickelback (my favorite band at the moment), Linkin Park, Daughtry, Josh Grobin and AC/DC. I know Josh Grobin and AC/DC is so opposite ends of the music world.
Now if I'm in the convertible, top down I generally feel the need for AC/DC and really loud. I grew up driving around in a corvette with nitro so when your going fast you need some serious music.
Then when the fall comes around and I'm getting ready for the holidays I tend to start listening to some country. I do like country music and I tend to go to: Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson (who we know personally), Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain
and I love Nickelback (my favorite band at the moment),
Just a few of mine are:
Nickelback
All American Rejects
The Killers
Nirvana
U2
Edit: Journey, one of my all time favorites. How could I have forgotten them
I must say I love all the bands mentioned so far, but my favorite is a band called Tiger Army which I'm sure no one has ever heard of. They're awesome. And AFI, they're great too.
My favorite genres would probably have to be melodic death metal, folk metal, and progressive metal. I enjoy rock also, specifically southern. My top bands?
Metallica
Insomnium
Blind Guardian
Type O Negative
In a land of wonderous things...
I'll get the ball rolling with a list of mine-
The Beatles
The Doors
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin
Nirvana
The Black Keys
Metallica
Alice in Chains
Black Sabbath
NiN
The Killers
The Who
AC/DC
Cream
The Cure
Stone Temple Pilots
Rush
Death Cab for a Cutie
Grateful Dead
And many others...
as a matter of fact it's all dark."
