At the request of many GeekDrop users who wish to retain a bit of privacy, your Online Status here, which also shows your "Last Seen" time is no longer visible to anyone who is not logged into GeekDrop.
This prevents anonymous visitors from seeing the aforementioned information on your account. Logged in users with a GeekDrop account are able to see this information.
It does show online status, to anyone logged in. It's easy for anon stalker types to monitor a certain member or members of their choosing here if they wanted, to see when they were online. And since it also shows when they were last seen if they aren't online, it's a method of keeping tabs on someone if they wanted.
Alot of people on other social networks as well, Myspace for example, don't always want their online status shown either. That's why they come here to get codes and tricks on how to hide their online status (such as the last seen info) from showing to people, or turning their online now status off in their settings..

why would someone worry about online status at a forum? i may be wrong but there are more people who want to show online status then not. It makes it more fun. If you created a poll,, the majority will win. Think about that....
nice site btw
