So are you giving up to much goodies when you twitter - well the Miami Dolphins think you could be. So as of now the Dolphins training camp is a twitter free zone - no twittering for the players or the fans that come out to watch them train.
So why the twitter free zone? Well according to my local news "The Dolphins wouldn't comment on camera, but say the reason for getting all a twitter about twitter is that the flow of information can hurt their competitive advantage."
So here is the thing - what is the difference between twittering live vs waiting till you get home to twitter? Ok so restrict the players (according to the news only 2 twitter anyways) but the fans? I mean really is the Chicago Bears going to follow me to get the dirt on what the Dolphins are doing - I dont think so.
What do you think - good idea or over kill?

I suppose they could have a valid point. Any one of those 'fans' could be a well educated scout, and be relaying what he's seeing to the world, or other teams. Then again, in that case, they should probably ban all cell phones, since it could just as easily be sent via email, cell pix, etc. too.
