First thanks for clicking my message. I am not that good with technical things, and am thus seeking help from you experts.
I am quite new to facebook. I joined in May, and was not there during the whole thing that I now know happened in Jan with the scam where someone said that the unnamed ap was a virus or spyware, when it was supposedly the "boxes" tab. Since then, I believe that facebook has fixed the problem.
However, now in June (I joined facebook in early May), I go to my Account>Privacy Settings> Applications and Websites. I see that under "What you're using", there was an "Unnamed ap". I didn't know all that history at the time. I didn't want any applications I wasn't using, and I didn't know what it was, and I deleted it.
Things seemed to work OK afterwards but then I was getting problems such as messages being delayed when being sent, both in "Send a message" and the chat program. I don't know if this has anything to do with the ap or whether it was coincidence.
I read on this website that to add back the ap, I would have to go to my profile page, click the pencil on any box and select "move to boxes tab", which I did, and a boxes tab appeared (I did not have one when I joined facebook). However, the "Unnamed ap" did not re-appear under my "What you're using" section in Applications and websites!
I asked a few friends and they said that they also had this "Unnamed ap" in their account, so it probably means it is something I should have by default.
Can someone help me with this? To add back that Unnamed ap?

I'm not seeing an unnamed app in mine either. It sounds like more of a network latency problem with the delayed actions. What happens if you clear your browser cache, restart your browser, or even just try again awhile later?
Is there any way that there is a difference between facebook profiles started in different countries? I am in Hong Kong, and I started the facebook profile here. I don't know but it seems that all my friends here have the unnammed ap, but since you are overseas you both say you don't have it.
Also, I noticed I am getting responses from friends whom I sent messages to that are local or in Asia, but not from the US or Europe, since I deleted the unnamed ap. Maybe they just don't like me I don't know, but they replied to messages before, so I don't know if it is a coincidence that I deleted the ap and they immediately started to hate me or there is something with the ap.
Today, people told me they typed a whole lot of stuff to me on chat, but it didn't arrive.
I wonder if anyone here HAS the unnamed ap, can tell me if there is a way to add it back?

Welcome to Geekdrop! I looked on my profile and I don't have the "unnamed ap" either. I haven't noticed any delay in sending messages or receiving them. I also don't see any slowing down on my profile nor on my fan page. Chat wise I couldn't tell you because my chat always shows me as offline and I don't use it. I would say if your not having really any issue then I wouldn't worry about it. You'll see that facebook changes things around all the time, including security settings.
