Microsoft is realeasing the new IE8 today. I dont hardly ever use IE unless I'm forced to but I'll probably update. Even though haha when I do have to use IE I generally do it via Firefox's IE addon.

Microsoft Corp is set to publicly launch Internet Explorer 8 early on Thursday, the latest version of its market-dominating Web browser.

The application, an integral part of Microsoft's eagerly awaited Windows 7 operating system, can be downloaded from Microsoft's website from 9 a.m. Pacific time, free for people using licensed Microsoft operating systems.

I'd be curious to see what it's all about and what new features it has. I'm wondering will it be in any way competitive now to Firefox.

Unless they allow addon's like Firefox I dont see that happening. I'm not ready go give up my addon's such as adblock to make the switch back to IE.

I use IE for school because the website I use for my online classes only supports IE, not FF. I tried that IE addon, but I have to admit that I didn't like it. It kept causing FF to crash... I tried reinstalling the addon, but it kept crashing. *shrugs*

It does look sweet but I like my addon's to much. I love love love adblock becuase I see like NO ads ever and plus I block trackers. There are a few others I would hate to live with out (like my smileyXtra)
