OK so get this story. There is a guy in Springfield VA who got up out of bed at 5:30am stumbles to his kitchen to make coffee and he is buck naked. He said his house was dark but I'm guessing he turned on the kitchen light to make the coffee but I could be wrong. Anyways outside walks this lady with her 7 yr old son. The see the man Eric Williamson and they call the police. The police arrest the man!!!! They arrest him for being naked in his own house. The guy could get a year in jail over this not to mention the embarrassment factor. You can read the story HERE.
Here is my question how many of us have walked around the house in the buff? Your in your house you should be allowed to do as you please. Now if they guy was standing at the window sticking his penis up against the glass as people walked by then yeah I could see some issues but geeze he was in his house. Also at what point do the people looking become peeping Toms?
For the record when the kids are already off to school and I'm getting ready for work (home alone) I can often be found walking around the house 1/2 naked or more

dont the police in this city have bigger fish to fry? this is ridiculas. i cant see the judge taking this too far like a yr in jail but i can see the police having to arrest him to quiet this woman up and represent the city. she probably, and unbeknownst to this man, has called and complained more than once about him for one thing or another. i walk around the house naked all the time. my kids are 3yrs and 4 months. they dont know or care yet. and when does a mom have a min to herself to try and get dressed after a shower? (my daughter walked in on me in the bathroom just this am and said "oh...you nakey! ha!") i think its your god given right! they have nudest colonies...common!!!!
plus i have alwasy said that if i had a house on a mountain or beach with all glass windows in the living room or bedroom id have no shame in walking around naked. 
but how close was this woman to have been that offended?
Makes ya wonder what the guy looked like - is he a hottie or well not
Bet if he was a hottie she would have parked her butt on the grass with some coffee to watch the fun 
I have teenage boys I can't walk around naked - they would lock me up in a looney bin.

...my kid stands right outside my shower curtain "are you done yet? Mommy? MOMMY!" me: "no, one minute" kiddo: "are you done yet? are you done yet? are you done yet?" OMG two minutes is how long it takes me to shower, TWO. and if i weren't enjoying the hot water i would be going batty.
And then when i pull back the curtain he laughs "hahaha you're NAKED MOMMY!" and starts explaining in toddler language why boys and girls are different.
see that is when you pop in a video for him to watch and tell him mommy needs a time out. Little kids love that - hehe mommy needs a time out - and when in time out you cant bother them so while you watch this mommy is in time out. Then you dart to the bathroom for some nice hot water relaxation 
then shed be putting me in time out for everything.....well....i guess that wont be too bad then. wonderful idea sm! thx
I think this whole thing is bogus. He was in his own home and i would like to think this guy wouldn't be opposed to drawing his shades from now on (just to avoid trouble)--it was just an unthinkable incident in my mind.
Last point, yeah i would've parked myself on the lawn with my coffee instead of calling the police--not bad lookin'
On the local news' website the poll that asked if he should be charged says 99% No, and 88% of people said they walk around in their homes naked.
