One issue I have with my iphone is battery life, basically it sucks. I can charge my iphone either on the computer or thru plugging it into the wall (electric) and I still get very little battery time. I have turned off all the things on my iphone which could drain it down and its still the same.
I use to have a Blackberry and the battery life on it with apps running and email etc. was about 2 days, I am sorry I switched from Blackberry.
So until my contract runs down enough for me to get another cell I ended up getting something called a juice pack for my iphone. It does exactly what it says it does and has saved me more times than not. It does make the iphone a little bulkier and heavier for sure.
Funny I was able to purchase it at the Apple store!

Weird. Both iPhones I had, First and Second Gen, get great battery life. Waaaaaaaay better than my traditional cell phones I had before. I use my iPhone pretty often for mail and internet. I use about 50 to 60% of the battery each day. Have you talked to anyone at Apple abut your battery life? What kind of life do you get with the pack? Without?
When at work I turn off Wi-fi. I turned off mail fetching when I got Gpush. I keep my screen at full brightness.
I can charge my cell over night, turn it on the next morning and I can't get thru a day with it even with most things turned off and turning them on when I have too.
My next step is going to be calling Apple directly and stop wasting my time talking to the cell phone company.
I have done my own research on it and in the Apple forums this same issue has been coming up constantly and many in the forum said they started having battery issues when they updated.
I will let you know the outcome of this.
