Yep I guess the makers of mobsters Playdom needed to make a little more money so now you can play mobsters on iphones with a new app
so if your a mobster player and you have a iphone you can read more about it and get it HERE
This is a breif guide that will explain the following:
- What level is required for each level of the achievements
- What is required for each achievements
- What the reward is for each achievement
Levels 1-20:
This will get you up to the bronze achievement.
Requires 1 Energy and you will gain a total of 1 Experience.
- +20 favor points for the iphone bonus
- +1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement (after completing one iPhone mission)
- 24/7 badge next to your name on your Mobsters profile
Levels 20-42:
This will get you up to the silver achievement.
Requires 180 Energy and you will gain a total of 270 Experience.
- +20 favor points for the iphone bonus
- +1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement
- +2 favor points for the silver iphone achievement
- 1 Promise of Police Protection henchman
Levels 42-1000:
This is will get you up to the gold achievement.
Requires 464 Energy and you will gain a total of 720 Experience.
- +20 favor points for the iphone bonus
- +1 favor point for the bronze iphone achievement
- +2 favor points for the silver iphone achievement
- 1 Promise of Police Protection henchman
- +3 favor points for the gold iphone achievement
- 1 Network of Informants henchman
AS OF RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE PLATINUM ACHIEVEMENT. WE WILL SIMPLY HAVE TO WAIT.
What do the achievements look like?

What do I have to do to get the achievements?
There are several missions you have to do to get the aceivements.
The first mission is the Steal an iPhone mission.
By doing this mission, you will get the following:
The information provided (in this image it has been blacked out) is how what you enter into the application on your iPhone to link the accounts. Upon completetion of this, your Mobsters profile will display next to the name and you will now have 
in your achievements section (bronze achievement is after doing one mission). Please note you must link your MySpace Mobsters account to the Big Apple app to get the achievements.
Now the next missions to do are the A Starnge Text Message and A meeting with Mr. X missions. You have to do A Strange Text Message 10 times to get 10 of 
. Once you get the right amount you can do the Meeting with Mr. X mission.
Upon completetion of these missions, you will obtain the Promise of Police Protection henchman (see image above) and 
in your achievements section to replace the bronze.
The last set of missions to do are A Job for Mr. X and Raid on Mr. X's Hideout. You will have to do A Job for Mr. X 10 times and obtain 10 of 
. Once you get 10 clues you can do the Raid on Mr. X's Hideout mission.
Upon completetion of these missions, you will obtain the Network of Informants henchan (see image above) and 
in your achievements section to replace the silver.

Trying to get I-Phone expert achievement and don't know how? Do You?
I dont have a iphone BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT I should get a ipod touch in the mail today (my sons). Trust me I will be checking it out 
I guess right now there is no platinum on the iphone/ipod. The godfather did a post on it you can read here or read above (I updated the mian post)
OK I have a question for you. My son got his ipod touch yesterday. I went on it and actually coughed up the .99 cents for the app (that didn't make me happy - I want it free) anyways I play 5 profiles but I didn't find any way to change profiles on it. How do you do that? I want to get the godfather points on all of them and the badge but I really don't want to pay for the app 5 times. I'm thinking there is another way around this. HELP.....

I found the instructions up top a little confusing so I'm breaking them down more:
First let me say you can get these via the iPhone OR a iPod Touch. To get any badges you need to be atleast level 20 and that will get you up to a Silver badge. To get a gold badge you have to be atleast level 42. There is currently no platinum badge. Now let me say this if you have a low level mobster you can do the basic to get the 20 Godfather points you just can't get any badges till you hit level 20. So even if you never plan to hit 20 do the first step to get the points.
STEP ONE (you can be any level) this will give you the 20 godfather points and this on your stats page 
On your computer do this mission in Da Bronx
When you do this mission you will get this
Where the pink is will be numbers. Those numbers will give you access to YOUR profile on the iPhone or iPod. You need to write those numbers down and save them. Now what happens if you loose them well you can redue the mission.
Now log into your iPhone / iPod and get the Mobster app (it cost 99 cents)
When you log in it will ask you for your numbers. Those are the numbers above that you got doing that mission. At this point you will be given the badge on your stats page and the 20 Godfather points. If your a low level profile (under level 20) this is where you stop. Anything after this you need to be atleast a level 20.
STEP TWO (min. level 20 needed) Do these on the ipod or iphone
As soon as you do the first mission once (you need to do it 10 times total but only once for the first badge) you will get the bronze badge 
Once you do this 10 times you then need to move to the next mission. Go to Jersey and complete "Meeting with Mr. X" one time
Once you have done those 2 missions (A strange text message 10x & Meeting with Mr X 1x) you will earn the 
STEP THREE at this point you need to be atleast level 42) Go to downtown and do "A job for Mr. X" ten times.
Once you completed that 10 times you need to go to Jersey and do "Raid on Mr.X Hideout" once
Once that is completed you will now have the gold badge 
Currently there is NO missions to get the platinum badge (we have to wait)
TIPS:
1. What do you do if you have more then one profile? Do you have to buy the app for each profile? Nope you simply remove the app from your iPhone or iPod touch and then when you plug it back into itunes add it back. When you add it back you can then add the new numbers for the next profile. Its FREE to add it back since you already paid. 
2. I started to do the missions and I lost track of my count. How do I tell how many times I did each mission so I don't go over 10 and end up piling up the experience points? Easy go to your mobster profile on your computer and to missions. Refresh the page and you can see up top - it will show you.
iPhone Achievement is GONE ! Do you think its a glitch ? New Achievement is supposed to be available.
Web Savvy Achievement is the next new one but how ya get it anyone know?
Hummm I would say its a glitch unless they couldn't muscle any more money out of apple. Not a clue to thwat Web Savvy is but it sounds interesting to mee. 
Mobsters on iphone is now free also updated version lets you download apps for favor points I got 50 favor points for downloading 7 apps

Who's New
They've got a myspace version, a face book version, and offsite version for each. Not a dang one of them works as it should. SO they make a new one for iPhone that is no better and nothing to centralize all of them. So instead of having 1 thing to maintain for the most part, they have 6 things to maintain and not a friggin one works properly as it was never written right to begin with.
Best of all, Apple has more debt accumulating than they do revenue but claims they're profitable thanks to worth on paper. Brilliant. Just freakin' brilliant.
