Well as a way to promote Windows 7 Microsoft was going to sponsor the up-coming show on November 8th. When Microsoft sat down to view the completed show they were not please at all. Evidently the show “include riffs on deaf people, the Holocaust, feminine hygiene and incest,” the execs decided that “such material was apparently a bit much for Microsoft.”

Well no worries it will still be shown on November 8th as scheduled and un-cut. Nope Microsoft will not sponsor the show but the part about Windows 7 will still be a part of the episode.

So I'm curious at what point did Microsoft think that Family Guy didn't kinda push the envelope? Humm some times the best advertising is the riff between ideas. So do you think this is something that could have been planned? Either way they both get extra advertisement FREE so its a win win for both Wink

Laughing family guy always pushes the envelope.....thats what makes it so good!!! I love it..........If you want to advertise yourself Family Guy is the way to go!!! I'm not saying this was "planned" but it may have been an "after thought" either way, I think its brilliant!! I Heart Family Guy!
