On June 10, 1991 a 11 yr old girl was kidnapped on her way to her bus stop in South Lake Tahoe. The little girl was Jaycee Lee Dugard.
On Wed the now 29 yr old girl walked into the police station with her now two daughters that she has since had, born after she was kidnapped and fathered by the man who has been molesting her for years and held her captive. Her daughters are now 15 and 11 so you do the math she was 14 and 18 when she gave birth. The past 18 years she has lived in the mans back yard captive in a shack. El Dorado County Undersheriff Fred Kollar said, "She was in good health, but living in a backyard for the past 18 years does take its toll." The backyard compound had electricity from extension cords and a rudimentary outhouse and shower, "as if you were camping," "None of the children have ever been to school, they've never been to a doctor." "They were kept in complete isolation in this compound." She was abducted by this couple, Phillip and Nancy Garrido.
She has since been reunited with her family. So how was she found? Well Philip was found on Berkley College with his daughters passing out religious information. He was questioned and found he was a registered sex offender and served time already for kidnapping and rape. He showed up at the parole hearing with Jaycee and the two daughters claiming they were his wife and daughters. The couple Philip and Nancy Garrido are in police custody charged with kidnapping to commit rape, their bail was set at 1 million dollars. The Garrido neighbors had no idea.

I agree, he should be burned at that stake, i hate these kinds of stories and there are SO many of them. I have watched shows of kids and even adults being abucted and treated as sex slaves for many many years, brainwashed into thinking all kinds of stuff. There are some animals out there, makes you wonder what possesses them to do such things. This girl's life is hopefully not entirely ruined, but she will never be normal. It just goes to show that if you even suspect something fishy is going on you should report it. Maybe if those neighbors had called even social services to see why those kids were living in tents years ago, this could have ended sooner. I hope that pig rots in he!!.

Robinson is one of the few neighbors who saw the now-29-year-old Dugard and her daughters (now 11 and 15) peeking over the fence in recent years.
He said his girlfriend called the sheriff's department two years ago to report the known sex offender had children in his yard. The responding officer failed to discover the encampment where authorities say Dugard was kept captive.

"Jaycee has strong feelings with this guy. She really feels it's almost like a marriage," said Probyn, who was there when little Jaycee was snatched from a bus stop in 1991 and has been in contact with her mother since they found out the girl was alive.

I'm sorry someone should just shoot him, pigs like that don't deserve to live. That poor little girl will never be right and her two children will never be normal. So many lives destroyed, such a sad story but in the end she is alive. I just don't get why this guy was on parole why they never discovered her, who dropped the ball here? Prayers to her family.
