Anyone catch this interview on Letterman the other night? Joaquin Phoenix (whom I happen to love) displayed some bizarre behavior, from asking Letterman what the audience was "on" to talking about focusing on his hip-hop music career. I kinda think he's just acting. Like the whole thing is some sort of joke or for a role. But, if it's not, than all I can say is- Wow. What do you all think?
I know...it would be so sad if it wasn't just an act. How can he possibly own the night if he doesn't even own his sanity anymore?
I really think it's just some sort of brilliant plot of his...but...who knows...
Letterman- "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight." Oh boy. Heh.
I saw that interview that night> I felt bad for Letterman - that could not have been easy. I think I would have booted him off the stage.
I'd say it's all been pre-planned, including with Dave. He's an actor for one, so he's acting, plus what person going on a big show like that, standing around backstage with all the behind the scenes excitement and hustle n bustle going on, wouldn't know they have to go out and be entertaining? Could just be the cynic in me though

Wow. First time I've seen it. That was so weird, I would have changed it in the first 5 min. He seemed so serious, I question if it was an act or not. Either way, that has to be the most weird thing I have ever seen on a late night interview. Poor Letterman.
I watched this on youtube after my boss told me about Ben Stiller's act on the Academy Awards.

This is craziness, right?! I hope it is a joke, or all for a documentary (that I would totally watch). He could have lost it though, he doesn't exactly come from a stable background.

tap tap tap.. is this thing on?
I saw this and the entire time I was thinking .. either he has some brilliant scheme planned or he has seriously gone bye-bye.. I hope its all part of an act. I would hate to hear that this is serious. Especially, the way he's being made fun of. It's a grey area now since we don't know but, oh my! if its real.
