So this morning I was having a problem, seems like the same one that Snazzy is having. Actually it was happening since last nite. Firefox kept crashing and closing, (the grey screen appeared ) and then it would close out. I would open it again, try to send a PM (I was on Facebook at the time) and boom crash again. I got a notice that my anti virus was expired so I tried to download AVG
Free version this morning but it kept crashing and not allowing me enough time to download. I opened IE and that was giving me a bit more time, but that also kept crashing. I finally got to hit the download button on the AVG
and was able to download it. When I tried to run it, it would only go so far, then it gave me some error message and in parentheses it said (probably not enough memory). That's not suprising for my computer, so I went to delete some programs to free up space and one of them I chose was iTunes. Son o' mine uses it on his own computer and I was under the impression that he had transferred, or whatever it was he did, all his iTunes stuff over to his new computer at Christmas time. He now tells me that he still had stuff on the one on my computer and is very upset at the moment. Now my question is, have I deleted the stuff and can never get it back again? Can he not access this stuff from his iTunes account on his own computer? Help!!
They were South Park episodes. I didn't delete anything from iTunes, I just deleted the whole program.
I would suggest downloading the thing again. And when it ask if you want it to search all your files and move the compatable ones to your iTunes, tell it yes. I'm thinking there is still a chance that they might be on there and iTunes could find them again.... But I honestly am not positive.
If not, he should be able to email Apple, and have them send them again. I started losing a few songs (apple's fault) and they resent me everything I had ever downloaded.
Edit: Here is the email address that is a serious pain the the a$$ to find: [email protected]

hummmm funny I had the same thing happen to me - on there one day and poof when we went to update the library they were gone. Now I had all the music but we we're not talking just one song but tons of songs (not downloaded from apple). So a few hours later and lots of ^%*# and $#^% I got it back. Needless to say I my Zune! I still have 3 ipods I fight with on a regular basis.
I also wanted to say make sure you are only running one anti-virus. If your running two different ones it can and will lock you up on the web.

Are they songs that you purchased from itunes? I'm going to guess you looked in your recycling bin and you had already deleted it from there if not restore it back.
