Well, I don't have an iPhone, but I know lots of people do. Saw an article that talks about how the iPhone is not nearly as secure as one would think. Apparently it barely protects your personal data. In fact there is even an upcoming seminar to discuss and teach how to recover personal data and evidence from iPhones.
ANY phone with internet access has potenital security risks. So far I absolutely my iPhone. You just have to be careful, like with anything, and use common sense. It's always scary knowing your stuff can be hacked into but you can at least try to reduce your chances of that happening...
"Most everyone's mad here.
"You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself."
I will say I agree with that you need to be cautious with all Internet phones. However this makes me love my blackberry even more.
I will also say be careful on what sites you surf while on your mobile. For instance myspace, I have tracked quite a few mobile hits that the tracking gave me full access to their myspace. Lucky I don't play those games so I ignored them all (except for one - my stalker and I had fun with him).
I guess I'll be doing my research before I actually invest in one. Hopefully some of those security issues will be fixed by then.
Single & Not Looking
Yikes, glad I don't have one. I may be looking at the G1 from T-Mobile soon though, wonder if that has any of the same issues...
