My first real post here and I thought this How To would be a good start, since I am sure we all have been caught with our eyes blinking or with a silly facial expresison, or take 60 pictures to find one good one.
Call me nutty, but I'm thinking that dog is trying to do a lil more than just throw a deuce.
OMG there are two dogs there
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that is seriously funny. Guess the kids weren't the only ones smiling in the pic - I'm pretty sure the dogs were too
yeah you must be seriously blind not to see that one
(trust DoGG to find the dogs doing the doggy
)
yeah well it was 6 in the morning pre coffee posting. But you get the point - you have to look at your background too
Very good tips, sometimes i can come out great in a pic and then again sometimes i cant hit the delete button fast enough, i'll remember these the next time and will get back with results

Great tips! Here are a few more:
Remember the position of the camera - make the camera level with you or slightly higher will make you look thinner. If you are higher then the camera (like standing on stairs) it can add weight to you however it can give you a more authoritative look. Now this is not to be mixed up with the standard myspace pose then a person holds a camera right over their head and aims down which makes them look much much thinner and for the girls makes for some serious cleavage. I dunno those pics look seriously cheesy and are obvious that you are trying to hide some.
Also be aware what is in the background. You can take a awesome pic and find the background destroyed it (yeah you can always photoshop it). Example - your kids first day of school and the dog that has to poop in your picture
