I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Jon. I've actually checked out geekdrop a few times, I found you all though sumob. I play mobsters on myspace. I decided to join tonight because I need help. I have a 15 year old daughter who lives with her mother most of the time and she is on facebook. I really am computer illiterate and I don't understand facebook. I did find her but I can only see her main picture and her friends. I'm worried that she is hanging out with the wrong group of kids. I'm hoping you can help me better learn about facebook so I can make sure she is not getting into to much trouble or posting bad pictures. I'm not to happy with her main picture.

Oh, how do I change my picture on here? Do I need to get an approval and email it to someone?

Hey Gunslinger welcome to GeekDrop. You will find we are one big family so jump on in anytime.

We have a number of forums here but you might want to check this one out: FaceBook. There are some good threads there that will get you started. Do you have a facebook? Have you tried to send her a friend request or told her you know about it and talked with her? We do have some codes to get into private facebook (parts of) you can find those in the Premie area.

To change your picture simply go to the top and click on the "My Profile" and you can change it there (just hit edit)

Thanks smartmom for the welcome. I fixed my picture, that was easy. :-) I did just open a facebook but its really different then myspace so I'm having problems there. I will read over the facebook information. I have to figure out my paypal login and I will join the premium area. I don't think she will accept me as a friend so I may have to look for other ways.

How do I do a shout?
