Its that time of the year so we needed a thread for it. So what are your plans? Dressing up? Parties? Decorate the house?
Pictures are welcome
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh your the house my kids would egg (just kidding)
My kids are going to parties since they are older and I'm passing out candy here at home. I have tons of candy since my house will be busy. I generally get about 200 tricker treaters. Some decorations outside so I'm good to go.
We don't do the Halloween thing here. But to all who does. Enjoy
I'm going all out this year. I spent thousands of dollars on my costume... Ready for this? I'm a.........................................................
poor and pathetic minimum wage subway worker for Halloween this year. Woohoo.
---When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.---
So who is giving out what candy? Me I'm giving out:
reeses Peanut butter cups
KitKats
Nerds
Laffy Taffy
toosie rolls (the large ones)
didn not find the bag of vanilla tootsie rolls this year....but my waist said maybe its a good thing.
this was our sons first halloween so we did our first trunk or treat (people, usually at churches, decorate their trunks of their cars with a theme and hand out candy) then hit a neighborhood to do some REAL trick or treating. we decorated our house (halloween is my favorite holiday) and carved pumkins with our neighbors. my neighbor also made homemade cookies so we went over to help decorate with frosting and sprinkles. it was suposed to be for the kids to do but they were too busy playing. we ended up doing all the work and eating it too!
Awww I love that! First Halloweens are so much fun the babies are so cute. Did you dress him up (as what)? I love the trunk or treat - what a great idea!
I love the little kids trick or treating in the cute costumes. My kids all went scary - my cute days are gone
Here was my one son - the evil scarecrow from Batman
he was a banana with a onsie underneath that said babys first halloween. i told the lucky homeowner that she was his first trick or treat and got a pic. mini was already movin on to the next house. shes a pro now! after we were done i was eating some of his candy(couldnt raid hers till after bed) and she told me to stop...that it was his... i told her he couldnt eat it yet so he was sharing with me. without missing a beat she said "he wants to share with me too." ha!
they do grow too fast. next year though we are all dressing as a group. some kinda theme.
Single & Not Looking
Well I'll admit I'm the scrooge of Halloween, I did do the trick or treating with my son every year because that's what a parent has to do but now that hes pretty much passed that I don't really celebrate it.... so I'm thinking of this decoration for my door his year
