Ok check this picture out...
What is that you ask? It's a guy in Oregon riding his bike with a dual-exhaust pulse jet engine. Yep he can get up to 73 miles per hour. I dunno I think you need to be crazy to do that. Yeah you can do that on a motor cycle but at least on a motor cycle your on a heartier bike with sturdy tires. We're talking bike tires here - you know with tubes. Somehow I don't think they were safety tested to go 73 miles per hour. The engine is so loud that if you're not wearing ear plugs you will go deaf (not maybe but will).
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that he is single because I think most wives would have smacked him for coming up with such a dare devil idea, at least I would have.
Here is a close up of his bike
You can read more about it here:
Maddox, an artist and cabinetmaker in Medford, Oregon, started playing with pulse jets eight years ago. He built a sweet purple pulse jet cruiser last year for a collector in the Netherlands. His latest creation is beautifully retro-looking machine based on a 2005 Electra cruiser. It weighs 85 pounds and gets its power from a pair of pulse jets.
Why two? Why not?
"This bike has two [engines], although it is really one engine with two tail pipes,†Maddox said. "I stacked two 60-pound thrust engines and opened a hole between the combustion chambers and that makes them cycle as one.†The new engine also has a push-button starter and throttle.
i mean, it's kinda a cool idea...i don't know if i would smack a guy for something like that...maybe tell him what an awesome dare-devil spirit and creative mind he has, and please not ride it. if he did once, fine (boys. *rolls eyes*). twice, then i'd smack him. *lol*
but yeah, his neighbors must hate him.
Single & Not Looking
oh haha! Yep hes nuts for sure, hope his helmet is made of steel
I would hate to be his neighbor with that noise...
