I finally got Vista back up and going ! I had to buy and external USB powered DVD drive to get it back up and going because the CD/DVD/Blueray burner in the laptop doesn't work without OS installed so I can't load any DVD with it ! So any install files on DVD are useless on that drive unless OS is working & drivers are loaded !
Well anyway in a few more days I should be able to most more again.

Now I have tons of updates to do and it sucks ! I wish I had my old high speed internet here !
I still have to figure out the cd drive issue also.
Anyone know what the best Clone disc program is I want a direct backup copy once running again so I dont have to do this once again I bought Three 500GB harddrives to do this ( yeah a little overboard) I want the OS and everything backed up !
Any suggestions?

EDIT:
OK Here is the message I get in device driver with DVD Driver

Anyone know how to fix this in the registry?
your asking a question that I was going to do a thread in a few days - how to clone a hard drive (since I just had to do it twice). Program wise I use (and its FREE) Seagate DiscWizard Its also good for partitioning a hard drive and easy to use - just follow the instructions. I just changed out my hard drives in my laptop and in my netbook (up grading) and I had to clone the hard drives to the new ones.
As for your DVD player you need to go to the manufacture of your laptop and download the drivers for the model number you have.

Jayson I did some googling and I found THIS
Hi,
Code 19 means there is a driver conflict such as two devices trying to use the same resources.
Please start at the top and do ALL of these even though you might have done some before as it is often the
total process which solves the issue.
Try this - Control Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click the device - Driver's Tab - click
Update Drivers (this will likely do nothing) - then RIGHT CLICK the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
this will refresh the default driver stack. If the Drive is not displayed then continue to the next step.
Normally the above will fix that issue if not work your way down through these even if you have done
them before.

My favorite is True Image. It's not free but they have a trial period. It looks like the Seagate Diskwizard uses a an older version of the True Image engine.
