Nope, you're not thick, GeekDrop doesn't have a way to search for your friends if they're already here and you aren't already aware of it although if we get enough requests for this feature, we may add it). If your friends happen to like using the same nicknames on alot of websites though, you could try searching for the nickname in the search box at the top right of the site. If they used the same nickname here, it'll show up most likely.

You can also invite your friends here using our invitation system, and when they join, they'll know the nick name you're here as, and you can add them to your buddy list.
