Could it be true? Could Apple be trying to jump into the gaming market? It does look like something could be in the upcoming market.
So if they do come out with a stand alone would you be intrested (if the price was in the adverage gaming consoles out now)? Do you think they are coming into the gaming market a little late?
As a gamer, I'm saying no. PS3 has the graphics, 360 has the best games, and the Wii has games for everyone... What would Apple do?
No, I think their future is in portable gaming on the touch and iPhone. After having 1 billion apps download, I think its clear that there is demand for it... I think they should keep it up.

I can't image apple having anything free (online games) and I can only imagine what they would charge for a subscription. I think they would be better off developing MAC games for their own computers. The only issue then is will they be able to really support a high end game (CPU, ram and video cards).

I think if they get EA games to get on board with them then they could pull this off. The only problem I see is that currently gaming systems such as XBOX
and PS3 already have popular games that have a following. If apple wants to get this going they need to get games that already have a following already really jump into the market. If they can get a gaming giant like EA to jump on board and come out with games for there systems (convert some popular ones over) then I think they have a fighting chance. I'll be curious to see what type of pricing they come up with.
