Firefox 3.6 problems

So is anyone else having issues with Firefox 3.6 version? If your not sure which version you have click on Help > About Mozilla Firefox > then you will get a popup that will show which version you are on.
Ever since I upgraded I notice this:
- bookmarks disappear
- passwords don't auto put in when they should
- themes disappear
then I get where everything in drop boxes don't show. I took this as I was doing this thread - here is my tools:
Sometimes they (tools and other drop downs) are there and sometimes they are not. Anyone else having issues with it?

Another thing is that spell check doesn't work half the time, trust me I need spell check. I'm also not the only one having issues - google Firefox 3.6 issues and you will see tons complaining.
I downgraded and it seams like the same issues followed me with the downgrade - this sucks

If it's what I think it is, your something or other file is corrupt, and the only real option is to create a new Firefox profile and re-customize it the way you had your old one. It's userconfig.js in the profile folder, or something like that, i can't look at the moment though, real busy over here this morning.

I have 3.6 on both computers with no problems. I've had things like that happen before though, and once it totally screwed up my Firefox. It turned out to be a corrupt .js file although it was so long ago I'm having a hard time remembering exactly which one. I think it was prefs.js, but not 100% sure. You could take a look through your profile folder for any backed up versions of the config files and if ya find any, try restoring them. Make sure ya shut down FF before ya rename them back though.
I keep getting page won't loads........ AND....
Well my computer was working this afternoon. When I cut it back on, it tells me it won't start. So I cut it off, and try again. This time a program comes up and it tells me my computer won't start, so it will try and fix it. It told me that it needed to revert to an earlier version of my computer, and that I might lose some programs recently downloaded, but no personal files. With no other choice, I did it.
So when it finally comes up, everything is there... But my Firefox won't open. So I go and downgrade.... APPARENTLY that website lets you download all sorts of versions of Firefox, because I ended up with a Dutch one... All my options and everything set by Firefox is in Dutch.... Yay me.

Well I got back an English version. Now I can't get to my school email or igoogle without it crashing Firefox... So I upgraded back to 3.6 and I still can't go to iGoogle.... UGH

thanks for the heads up, i'll wait for a while before upgrading. Almost did this morning
