They never shutdown, bcs many big companies are waiting to buy facebook.. then the companies can do online marketing.

The profit Facebook is pulling in it would be very stupid for Mark Zerkunberg to shut Facebook down, not only is it very profitable for himself but it also gives great job opportunities to the staff they've currently got especially in these times some that have issues getting jobs due to the economic issues with the world and our over-spending for Facebook to shut down that'd cause quite a few people out of work not only in IT but that amount of other services that are overheads for Facebook have to pay for i.e. Cleaners, Cooks, Builders and the hundreads of others.

Behind Facebook isn't just a few servers and Mark Zerkenburg there are thousands of other staff from the people who make sure your desk is clean to those who make sure the servers don't go down, the amount of contractors they've got due to building themselves a Datacenter would be a huge loss to the building industry as a Datacenter isn't a small building far from especially with what needs to be held in there.

So I'd disagree with any of this "Facebook is shutting down."

even if it would,there will be an alternative since then,not sure what its called its a project,that will be same as facebook,but with less annoyance,anyway i doubt facebooks gonna shut down...
