Ed McMahon dies at 86...

The host of Star Search and Johnny Carson's right hand man died peacefully at 86 years of age. He'd been hospitalized for health issues in February. I remember watching Star Search when I was younger and he's always been such a familiar face to me. It's sad but I'm glad it was peaceful...

OMG, I can't believe he died! I mean.........he was getting up there in years, but still I'm taken aback by this. Wow.

I think his last few years were rough. I remember when he was going to loose his house in forclosure in Beverly Hills then some stars bailed him out. RIP Ed McMahon. Does this mean I wont get my publishers clearing house check?

What alot don't know was that he was a Col. in the US Marine Corp, he was a aviator. RIP Semper Fi

The last time I saw him he looked terrible, plus I read he had bone cancer. Its sad but I suppose its good that he isn't suffering any longer
