I need some suggestions and names of some of the better dvd authoring / publishing software out these days.
Both Free and Paid versions.
Thanks,
EM
Thanks
Nero's a good one,
I've used Roxio.
Trying to compile a good list of good programs for this both free and paid. I've googled and so forth and tested a few of the free ones but thought maybe I could get a better sense if an app is good if it's recommended or not recommended by people who have used them before.

I don't really know of any good free ones, and depending on how much control ya need when designing a DVD, there are a few good options. ConvertXtoDVD is a good, basic one. TMPGEnc Authoring Works is another good one, and my all-time favorite, Sony DVD Architect. There's a bit of a learning curve to it, but it's not too bad, and once you know it in and out, it's awesome. ![]()
I've used DVDFab and that's been decent, for both avi files, and burning dvd's.
