My brother said he deleted his profile but when I go to my contacts under messaging, he still shows up. When I go to his page is says no results. I can't find any record of him at all. But he is known for changing his username and blocking me. How can I tell if this is what he is doing instead of deleting his account.

A few things come to mind;
Is his account actually just deactivated (not deleted), and he's just telling you it's deleted?
Do you have Facebook Messenger or your phone set to sync your normal contacts with your Facebook contacts?
If you have old conversations in Messenger those messages usually still skew up even when the other person deactivated or deleted their Facebook account.
