and the idiot award goes to.............
Officers Troopers Daniel Martin and Bryan Iker of the Oklahoma state police.
why......
well they were on their way to a call I guess and they passed a ambulance that HAD a patient inside. As they came up fast on the ambulance they didn't like that the ambulance didn't pull over. OK need I say again the ambulance had a patient in it. Now the troopers dash cam caught the whole thing but the patient in the ambulance had a relative following it and caught it on video too. Both cameras caught the troopers yelling at the paramedics and get this trying to arrest them - you have to be kidding me.
ok here is the video that was caught by the patients relative
here is the video from the troopers dash
yep I say they need to book themselves for being idiots
You can read the story HERE.
I love this part:
"Assistant District Attorney Maxey Reilly said Friday it may be next week before she decides what charges, if any, will be filed. She did note, though, that the interference with paramedics in the performance of their duties is against the law in Oklahoma." (but in the end no charges were filed).
yeah no joke but I don't get is that if you watch the police video what are they in a rush for? I didn't see anything big going down. Those cops needs a serious wake up call - no joke what if their mom was in there. They were lucky that everything in the end worked out ok.
This happened at least a week ago, didn't it? Did the DA file any charges? I thought it was a bit over the line the way the cop has his hand on the guy's throat... Is that normal police procedure?
yeah it happened on May 31st so what a few weeks ago. At the end of the story is the update
UPDATE: Both state troopers have been revealed. Troopers Daniel Martin and Bryan Iker. The same article has this promising quote: "Assistant District Attorney Maxey Reilly said Friday it may be next week before she decides what charges, if any, will be filed. She did note, though, that the interference with paramedics in the performance of their duties is against the law in Oklahoma."
Second UPDATE: The Oklahoma State Police have released the dashboard video of the incident filmed from Trooper Martin's police vehicle, posted below.
We also have an update on the status of the incident: "The patrol has completed its internal investigation into the actions of trooper Daniel Martin, who has been placed on administrative leave with pay, West said. The investigation is now under review.
"Martin, a patrolman with two years experience, has been cleared of criminal wrongdoing by Okfuskee County District Attorney Max Cook. He also said he would not file charges against Creek Nation EMT Maurice White Jr., who is the person involved in the altercation with Martin."
Once again police officers get away with brutality and outright criminal behavior.
What complete pieces of those pigs are.
dang I really cant stand cops
In a land of wonderous things...
nice! wonder how they'd feel if it was one of their loved ones in that ambulance...
