I recommend to encrypt the user's IP address before sending it to Google Analytics, so their plain IP doesn't get stored on some Google server, which is a privacy problem in some countries such as Germany (Google introduced the anonymizeIP feature for that reason).

when I said that I changed from xml to php is for the first line of code, as you said (<?php to <?xml)
