Honda has helped develop a Brain Machine Interface that allows a human to control a robot by thought! Simply by using your brain! How freaky is that?
They show the participant a card with a body part (right arm, left foot, tongue etc) and then direct the participant to visualize or think about making a movement with that body part, the whole time while remaining still themselves. Sure enough, shortly after the robot will move the corresponding body part! Honda claims a 90% success rate so far.
I find this amazing, yet a bit scary... Kinda makes you wonder what else they can accomplish with my brain waves. Not to be conceited, but I DO have some pretty awesome brain waves

I'm sorry. Any time I think of robots, I always think about I Robot, the classic book (or not very good movie) that created the three laws of robotics... Anyway, this scares me sh!tless. What if the robot starts to retain the memories? What if they are able to take your command and twist it in a way you didn't expect? What if your thinking in the back of your mind, "I'm so mad at my husband/wife I could kill them" and the robot sees that as a command? If a robot accidently kills someone like that, would you be forced to go to jail??? No no no. There is far too much that could go wrong with this stuff. I think technology will bring about the end of life more then anything else.
