Hi Guys,
I told you I'd have more ?s! While trying to enroll in AVG, I run into a problem with the bottom of the page. This is just an example with AVG
, it happens on many pages. It seems like the screen is not tall enough to see all the info. So on pages where i have to click something on thge bottom of the page, I can't. I tried to change resolution but I can't check the appropriate box. I hope this isn't too confusing but I'm in a real mess . Thanks juliek
Can you boot into safe mode to change your resolution? Keep hitting F8 during a reboot to get to it.
Hi guys- Smartmom, I have tried that and find it very helpful for my daughter, but right now I lose the bottom of the page. Like with AVG, I couldn't hit the agree with TOS button because it's not visible. Hi Dogg, I remember you from another place. I am going to try the safe mode idea right now. Thanks so much you guys. Your quick replies are much appreciated. juliek
Hey Guys, I am so frustrated with this. Like I said before, I lose the bottom of my page for some reason. I moved the taskbar to the side of the window, but I still lose the bottom of the page. I can't print because of this problem, I can't sign up for AVG. There's so many things that are interfered with because of this. My screen size is 1600/900, or do I call it my screen resolution. Is it possible I changed the resolution when I was messing around on here. Is there a way to change it back? Please help before I throw this through the window.
Did you try hitting F11 ??
Try going to the Control Panel, choose display, then settings, then play with the screen resolution arrow and see what happens.
Hey Guys, I'm so happy! I finally got it. I tried safe mode with networking and I did a system restore and got evertything back to the way it was! Thank you all for your help and your prompt responses. I can tell this will be a great place to call home! juliek
Glad it worked out Julie. Yep this site is home for lots of us and were glad you made it over here, besides I missed chatting with you.

Julie try this - hold down the "Ctrl" button on the keyboard then on the mouse while still holding down the button roll the little wheel in the middle of the mouse. This button:
That will change the screen making it smaller or larger. From there you should be able to change the resolution since it will resize the screen temp. Now once you get it to the size you want you can release the button and the mouse and do what you need to do. Remember you have to hold down the button on the keyboard and do the mouse at the same time to do this.
Hope that helps you
