So has anyone tried out Mircrosoft's new search engine? It is replacing the MS Live Search. Its had good reviews with refining searches. It hasn't really been released to the public yet but I guess some are "testing" it out.

From what I have read it shows so much more than say what google and the other search engines show.

You can take a Virtual tour (video) of it here: Bing

PCWorld also did a write up on it

Bing: A Visual Tour of What's New

Microsoft has replaced Live Search with a new brand: Bing. The new Microsoft search destination is in part an overhaul of Live Search and in part a renovation of Microsoft's search technology. According to Microsoft, Bing lets you find Web content fast and excels at refining searches so that you can unearth the lowest airfares, discover reviews of neighborhood boutiques, or track down reliable health information from the Mayo Clinic.

So PCWorld did a smackdown...

Bing vs. Google vs. Yahoo: Feature Smackdown

In the arena of world-class search, can Bing bring the hurt to Google and Yahoo? Microsoft's newest search engine comes packed with search tools such as an Explorer Pane for refining searches, Quick Previews for sneaking a peek at a site before visiting it, and Sentiment Extraction for making sense of product reviews.

Google and Yahoo, meanwhile, are no chumps. Google has outwitted its competitors by delivering solid search results and cool tools such as Street Views. Yahoo has done a masterful job of integrating search results with its rich network of Yahoo content. Search for the musician Sting within Yahoo, and presto--you're watching Yahoo music videos or listening to streaming audio of Sting singing "Desert Rose" from within your search results.

How do these services stack up against each other? Bing targets four categories of search: shopping, local, travel, and health. In a highly subjective comparison, I tested Bing, Google, and Yahoo in these areas and in others.

I admit I cheated and flipped to the last page to see who was the winner. What you thougth I was going to post it - nope go look yourself

Forced to use Bing?
So a "glitch" has caused some IE6 users to have no choice but to have Bing as their default search engine... Even when manually choosing otherwise. Seems like Mr Gates knows how to get what he wants, huh?
Microsolft of course claims that this was a horrible snafu, and that they fixed it instantly. Who knows I don''t Know But you can read the entire article here if you feel so inclined.

Bing grabs 10% of Search Market

Earlier this week, Microsoft showed off a "visual search" feature for Bing that returns thumbnail images for at least some search results. Microsoft reportedly will be debuting a Bing 2.0 sometime soon sporting a variety of new features.

So I'm currious who is using BING? Well I have been using it and I must say I LOVE IT! I find it does grab more then google and yahoo (the two I used before). If your not using bing then I would really recomend it - atleast give it a spin.
