No its kinda different. Its basically where you just update your daily (or hourly status). OK like on facebook where you can put what your doing - it just that. What are you doing - or what is going on. So its kinda like talking to yourself. However the fun part is (or so they say - I'm still new at this) is you can learn stuff that you would normally never learn. Like if I was to twitt that "I'm sitting here in my office, caught up with my paperwork and playing online while enjoying he smell of my Island Mango Yankee Candle". Well hey there is something new - smartmom likes candles. Just kinda silly stuff like that. Something that you might not have know about me or that I would have no reason to talk about. Its kinda a way to look at someone or get to know someone in just general short blurbs. You can only post 140 max so its short and sweet. You can mark friends or others as "followers" so that you can see when they update.

SO with that said get to twittering. At first its kinda odd but then it kinda gets interesting. Also feel free to send me candles as mine is almost out (jk)
